Changing the maximum allowed memory usage

To change the maximum allowed memory usage:

  1. Go to the file <Sintelix installation directory>The directory in which the Sintelix program has been installed, for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Sintelix.\server\service\installservice.bat
  2. Line 24 specifies the variable HEAPMAX.

  3. Change this to a plain number in megabytes.
  4. Note: Values lower than 3000 and higher than available RAM are not recommended.

  5. To apply the changes, use an administrative command prompt to run uninstallservice.bat followed by installservice.bat.
  6. Note: If you reinstall Sintelix, any changes you made to memory settings will be overridden by system defaults so you will need to make the changes again.
