Maps and geocoding

ETA has a world-leading accuracy geocoding algorithm which is able to accurately find the latitude and longitude of locations - despite the fact that most location names are used for many different locations.

ETA is therefore able to plot extracted entities on an map view, as illustrated below.

Showing Locations for a Single Country Only

Mouse over the geo-locations link on the ribbon to reveal a list of countries, select one (for example, "Russia", as here):

The map view then focuses on the locations in the selected country:

Mouse over the location marker on the map to reveal the location's official name.

Navigating the Document via the Map

Clicking on a location marker on the map moves the document to the first reference to that location in the document.
