Documents tab

The Documents tab enables you to view and perform actions on the documents in a collectionA collection is a container for storing and organising ingested files and documents. Only the textual content is stored in collections, not the original files and documents..

Refresh the Documents tab's view

In the Quick Access Pane, click Refresh.

Discover Similar Documents

  1. In the Quick Access Pane, select the Discover Similar Documents checkbox to enable the feature.
  2. Move the slider left or right to decrease or increase the tolerance. The number of similar documents detected will display in the Number of Similar Documents column of the Collection Table.

When enabled, this feature can scan the collection to identify documents that are similar. The tolerance slider is used to adjust the match quality. A lower tolerance percentage will identify documents that are more similar, so it is recommended that the tolerance slider not be moved above 10% if a higher match quality is required.

Display Document Information

In the left most column of the Collection Table, click the caret sign (>) to expand and collapse the Document Information card of a specific Document.

On the Document Information card you will be able to view the Document ID, ingestion information as well as a list of similar documents if the Discover Similar Documents feature was used.

Open a Document for Editing

Under the Action column, click Edit Document for the Document you want to edit.

The Document Editing Mode view will open.

Reprocess a Document

Option 1 (Basic):

  1. Under the Action column, click Reprocess Document for the Document you want to reprocess.
  2. In the Ingestion Configuration list, select an Ingestion Configuration.
  3. Click Reprocess.

Option 2 (Advanced):

  1. Under the Action column, click Reprocess Document for the Document you want to reprocess.
  2. In the Ingestion Configuration list, select an Ingestion Configuration
  3. Select the Exceptions checkbox.
  4. Select or clear the checkboxes for content you want include or exclude from reprocessing.
  5. Click Reprocess.

Export a document

Under the Action column, click Export Document XML .

Open a Document's Original Source File

Under the Action column, click Original Document (stored) .

Delete a Document

  1. Under the Action column, click Delete Document .
  2. Click Delete.

Warning: This document will be completed erased from ETA. You will not be able to retrieve it if you did not export a backup.
